Tax havens cost Canada between $10 billion and $25 billion every year. That’s enough to pay for a national childcare program, solve the First Nations water crisis, and other important public services. Almost all that money goes to huge corporations and very rich people.
Over 90% of Canadians support making it more difficult for corporations to book profits in tax havens.
We advocate for policies including transparency on exactly how much, where and how corporations make their money, tougher and better-enforced anti-avoidance laws, and ending profit-shifting to foreign subsidiaries.
