Canadians for Tax Fairness and our allies campaign to end the use of Canada's clean reputation and weak transparency laws for tax dodging and money-laundering.
Hundreds of millions of dollars flow through shell companies and Canadian real estate, depriving governments of vital tax revenues, funding crime and terrorism, making effective sanctions impossible and distorting the real estate market.
We advocate for full and reliable transparency on corporate, trust and real estate ownership, as well as tougher penalties for financial crimes, stronger whistleblower protections and increased funding for the CRA.
